Festive afternoon tea with sandwiches, savouries and seasonal desserts at Wollaton Hall, with entry to the Natural History Museum included.
Wollaton Hall is doing a Christmas Afternoon Tea on Sunday 6 December, and it's more than just the tea. The spread is a curated selection of sandwiches, savouries and a range of seasonal desserts, so you've got the savoury and sweet sides covered in one sitting. If you've got allergies or specific dietary requirements, they can cater for them on request when you book, which is handy if you're bringing a group with different needs.
One of the better things about this one is that entry to the Hall's Natural History Museum is included as part of the visit, so you can stretch the afternoon out and have a wander through the museum before or after you eat. It's a nice way to make a proper day of it rather than just popping in for the food.
There are two sittings on the day: 12:30 to 13:45 and 14:00 to 15:15, so you can pick whichever fits your schedule. A few things to keep in mind before you book, though. The ticket covers the tea and the museum, but it doesn't include the all-year-round pass, Santa's 12 Days of Christmas or the Wollaton Winter Light Trail — those all need to be pre-booked separately if you're after them. Parking charges also apply.

Tickets are £30 for adults aged 13 and over, and £15 for children aged 2 to 12. With the two sittings, you've got a choice of a lunchtime or a slightly later afternoon slot, and the museum entry is built right in.
