Three nights of Bonfire Night with fireworks, around 15 independent food stalls, live DJs and family entertainment at Trent Bridge.
Notts Street Food Fireworks Nights are back at Trent Bridge this November, and for the first time they're running over three nights instead of two. The displays are on Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, with the fireworks going off at 8pm on the Friday, 8.30pm on the Saturday and 6pm on the Sunday. Doors open two hours before each display, so there's plenty of time to get settled before the first rocket goes up.
Each night has its own theme. Friday 6 is 'Ibiza Classics', Saturday 7 is 'A Night at the Movies', and Sunday 8 is built around family-friendly songs. There are live DJs on all three nights, and the concourses fill with around 15 independent food stalls, craft beers and artisan coffee. The event is run in conjunction with presenting partner Sauce Shop, an independent sauce producer from West Bridgford.
This is the fourth autumn that the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club has hosted the Fireworks Nights, and the first time it's been spread across three evenings. Tickets have sold out in each of the previous three years, so the organisers advise booking early. Aaron Wilson of Notts Street Food says these are the events they look forward to most, and Joe Sharphouse, Trent Bridge's Head of Commercial Sales, notes that the displays have grown bigger and better each year.
