The West Bridgford Hub Youth Games Night

The West Bridgford Hub Youth Games Night is on Saturday 31 October at Heymann Primary & Nursery School (KS1 Site), on Swithland Drive in Nottingham. It's run by West Bridgford Hub Youth, and the whole thing is built around a simple enough idea: young people meeting new people, playing games and socialising. It's a youth social and games night, so the focus is as much on the people you'll be playing with as it is on the games themselves.

That's the core of it — the games are the excuse to get together and hang out. If you're looking for a night where you can just show up and find something to do with other people your own age, this is exactly that. The session runs for around three hours, which gives you plenty of time to settle in, try a few different things, and actually get to know the people you're playing with rather than just rushing through one game and heading home.

It's a social night first and foremost, so it works just as well if you're coming with a group of friends as it does if you're turning up on your own. The whole point is meeting new people, so there's no need to have a full party sorted before you walk through the door. If you've been looking for a low-pressure way to get out and do something on a Saturday night, this is a good shout.

It runs from 5pm to 8pm, so it's an early one that gets you home at a decent hour. Entry is free, and it's held at Heymann Primary & Nursery School (KS1 Site), Swithland Drive, Nottingham NG2 7UN.
