Artist-run winter party at PRIMARY with themed bars, a 'bonfire of regret', live art games, tarot readings and dancing, as its annual fundraiser.
PRIMARY's artist-run weird winter party is back on Saturday 5 December, with this year's edition called Uncanny Christmas: Apocalypse Noel. It's the venue's annual fundraiser, planned and run by its resident community, and it's back for another year.
On the music side, The Uncanny Jukebox will be playing B2B2B, so you'll have three DJs working together throughout the night. Around the dancefloor, the artists themselves are running themed bars, and there's a 'bonfire of regret' to throw things into. There are also live art games, tarot readings and a photo booth, so it's a bit more than just a night of dancing.
It's a fundraiser, and the money goes to two things: replacing the venue's fire safety system and keeping its studios affordable and accessible for the artists who work there. Every pound raised goes towards those.
