Free plant-based Syrian food evening from the Corner Café's Community Kitchen series, paired with a relevant film.
The Syrian Kitchen comes to New Art Exchange on Thursday 5 November, from 17:00 to 19:00. It's part of the Community Kitchen series run by the Corner Café at the venue, which serves plant-based dishes from a different culture on the first Thursday of every month, with each country's cuisine paired with a relevant film. This month the focus is Syria.
All the food is vegan-friendly, and allergy information is available on request. The evening is open to everyone, and no one is turned away for lack of funds. Drinks are available to buy at the café, and the venue's galleries stay open late for visitors to explore around the food. It's a pay-what-you-want or pay-what-you-can-afford setup, so you give what you're able to on the night.

One thing to keep in mind: a ticket helps the organisers estimate attendance, but it doesn't guarantee food, which is served on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're keen, it's worth getting there early. The New Art Exchange is at 39-41 Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 6BE.
