Manchester hip hop production team and live band The Mouse Outfit play Rough Trade Nottingham on their UK tour, with over-14s only.
The Mouse Outfit play Rough Trade Nottingham on Friday 23 October, as part of a UK tour running from 15 October to 7 November. The night is presented by Scruff of the Neck as part of their Year End Fest, and the main set runs from 19:30 to 21:30 with support on the bill.
They're a Manchester-based hip hop production team and live band, known for jazz-influenced boom bap, funk and soul. The outfit is centred on producer and DJ Chini, with Pitch 92 among the key members. Over the years they've collaborated with more than 85 artists, including IAMDDB, Dr Syntax and Sparkz, and they've built their name on DIY, independent releases and high-energy festival shows.
Their live format changes depending on the night: it can be a DJ set, a soundsystem gig with MCs, or a full show with their eight-piece band, fronted by MCs Koj and Ayite. The Nottingham date falls into that wider UK tour, so they'll be bringing the full production to the city.
