Live performance and signing session by indie pop and rock band The Snuts at Rough Trade Nottingham.
The Snuts are playing Rough Trade Nottingham on Wednesday 4 November, and it's a double bill: a live set followed by a signing session. If you've got a record or a CD you've been meaning to get signed, this is the night to bring it along.
The band comes from Whitburn, in West Lothian, and they've been playing together since 2015, when they were still at school. The line-up is Joe McGillveray, Jordan Mackay, Callum Wilson and Jack Cochrane. They describe their own sound as alternative indie pop rock, and anthemic indie — that last word, anthemic, is a good shorthand for the kind of songs that work best when a room full of people are singing along.
It's a Scottish band playing in the heart of Nottingham, so if you're not already familiar with them, they're an indie pop and rock outfit that's built its name on that anthemic side of things. The signing session comes after the live performance, so you'll get the music first and the chance to meet them afterwards.
