Nottingham's festive singalong with no sheet music or experience required, with a fully stocked bar, pizza and a live stream of the final performance.
The Great Nottingham Christmas Singalong is coming to The Big Shed at the Trent Navigation Inn on Sunday 13 December, with the night run by Crazy Little Sing Called Pub, led by host Abi Moore and guitarist Ed Mayle. It's billed as Nottingham's biggest and most joyful festive singalong, and the whole thing is built for everyone rather than for the polished: there's no sheet music, no auditions, and no singing experience required. The idea is that hundreds of voices join in on big harmonies, so you don't need to be a choir member to get involved.
The setting does a fair bit of the heavy lifting here. The Big Shed is at the Trent Navigation Inn, 17 Meadow Lane, NG2 3HS, and there's a fully stocked bar and food from an outdoor pizza kitchen on hand. The lyrics are projected on what's billed as the biggest outdoor screen in the Midlands, so you can follow along without having to worry about getting the words right. The final performance is filmed and recorded, and a live stream is provided so you can create a personalised Christmas video message to send to loved ones.
