Weekly Tuesday evening of board games played by the social group Board Gamers of Nottingham in The Navigation Inn.
Board Gamers of Nottingham (BGON) are back at The Navigation Inn on Tuesday 27 October, part of their regular Tuesday night run. It's a social board games group that meets every Tuesday evening in a function room at the pub, and the whole thing is built around a friendly, inclusive atmosphere that works for seasoned players and newcomers alike. If you've never been, it's as simple as turning up and finding a table.
The group brings its own library of games to the night, so there's plenty to choose from even if you don't own a single box yourself. That said, you're more than welcome to bring along titles of your own if there's something specific you've been wanting to play. Between the group's collection and what people bring, there's usually a good spread to pick from.
The Navigation Inn itself is a traditional, cosy pub with a top-quality menu and great local beers, and its central-city location makes it an easy spot to get to for a mid-week game. Because it's a pub, you can grab a drink or some food to keep you going while you play. The group meets in a function room, which gives them their own space to spread out without getting in the way of the rest of the pub.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's worth keeping in mind that times and formats can change, so it's a good idea to check in with the group before you travel. The session kicks off at 18:30, and there's free entry.
