Free night of rockin' rhythm and blues with The Easy Thomas Blues Band, followed by resident DJs until 3am at Billy Bootleggers.
The Easy Thomas Blues Band are back at Billy Bootleggers on Saturday 7 November, their latest appearance at a venue where they've become regulars. It's a night put on by the venue itself, with the band as the main feature.
They describe their sound as 'Rockin' Rhythm and Blues at its best!', and they're known for the kind of lively R&B that gets the room boogieing. If you've caught them before, you'll know the sort of thing they're on about — it's danceable, high-energy blues that doesn't sit still. They've built up a following here, so this is one of their more familiar stomps rather than a one-off visit.
The evening starts at 8pm, with the band taking the stage at 9pm. Once they've finished, the resident DJs take over and keep the floor going until 3am, so the night stretches well beyond the live set if you're in the mood to stay. Entry is free, which makes it an easy one to drop into without much planning.
