Free pre-match fan zone with street food, a full bar and live sport on a big screen before the Stockport County match at Meadow Lane.
The Nest is hosting a Stockport County Pre-Match Fan Zone on Saturday 24 October, from 12:00 to 15:00. It's a supporters' area run by Notts County, and it sits right on Iremonger Road, just a few steps from Meadow Lane. The whole thing is designed to fill the gap before the match kicks off, so you can get your football fix in early and then wander over to the ground when it's time.
Inside, it's a mix of food, drink and sport. There's street food and a full bar, and live sport is shown on one of the city's biggest screens, with pre-match entertainment to keep things going. The ground floor holds up to 1,200 people, and the layout is set up to work for both quiet conversations and bigger group celebrations, so it doesn't matter if you're coming alone or bringing a whole crowd with you. On the practical side, the venue holds a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very good), following an inspection in June 2024.
