Live stage show in which Steve Backshall brings his series Deadly 60 to life with stunts, science demonstrations and animal facts.
Steve Backshall brings his live show Deadly Live! to the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Thursday 22 October, a matinee that runs from 14:00 to 17:00. It's the Nottingham stop of a tour that returns this autumn half-term, following the 2025 run.
If you've seen Backshall on TV, you'll recognise the format. Deadly Live! is a stage production that brings his CBBC series Deadly 60 to life, and it's billed as 'The Ultimate Wildlife Adventure'. Over the course of the afternoon, he tracks some of the world's most formidable predators, from big cats and birds of prey to snakes, and then takes things back a few million years with the Dinomania dinosaurs. It's not just a talk, though — there are daring stunts and science demonstrations woven in alongside the animal facts, so it's as much a show as it is a lesson in natural history.
Backshall is the one leading the whole thing. He's an award-winning explorer, adventurer, and TV presenter, and the face of Deadly 60, Deadly 60, Live, Deadly, Deadly 360, and Deadly Art. He's also an author, expedition leader, naturalist, and wildlife expert, so the show comes from someone who's spent a good deal of his life out in the field rather than just reading about it from a script.

It's a matinee, so it's a good one to take the kids to during the half-term break. Tickets start from £26.95, and the show runs from 14:00 to 17:00 at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Bolero Square, NG1 1LA.
