Rock and blues night with Starscreen on stage at 9pm and DJs until 3am at Billy Bootleggers.
Starscreen are playing Billy Bootleggers on Friday 23 October, bringing their brand of dirty rock 'n' roll to the city centre. The night is billed as a rock and blues session, and they're the main act on the bill.
If you've been around the area for a while, you'll know the venue as the old Percy Picklebackers. It's still in the same spot at 13-15 Weekday Cross, just under the new name. Starscreen describe themselves as a band that loves getting their crowd dancing, and that's exactly what they're after here: a night that doesn't stop when the live sets finish. They'll be on stage at 9pm, and the DJs will keep things going until 3am, so it's a long one if you're staying for the whole thing.

Doors open at 8pm, with live sets at 9pm and 11pm. Tickets are £2.20 including fees, or £2.00 face value. Entry is free on stage after 9pm, so if you're arriving later in the evening, you can just walk in. Between the two live sets and the DJs running until the early hours, there's plenty of room to come and go as you like.
