Stand-up comedy show Nicely by Sean Morley, presented by Club Wormhole as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival.
Sean Morley brings his show Nicely to Fisher Gate Point on Sunday 8 November, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. It's presented by Club Wormhole, and Morley is the sole name on the bill for the night.
Morley is a Sheffield-based comedian who's been working the circuit for a while. He made the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2015 and 2016, and took his first solo show, Diffident, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014. He's been back at the Fringe every year since 2017, so Nicely comes from a fair bit of time spent on stage.
The show is part of Wormhole Weekend, which Club Wormhole puts together as a weekend of alternative comedy within the wider festival. They describe it as a gathering of some of the country's best alternative comedy shows, with the nights performed and attended by some of the scene's favourite figures. If you're into the more offbeat end of stand-up, that's the crowd you'll be in with.
