Halloween-themed one-night micro-market with handmade treasures, live DJs and a fully licensed bar at Fisher Gate Point.
Darling's After Dark: Spooky Night Market takes over Fisher Gate Point on Thursday 29 October, from 6pm to 11pm. It's the first in a new series of nocturnal pop-ups from Darling's, which they've built around giving small brands from Nottingham and the Midlands a platform. This one is a one-night micro-market, and the Halloween theme is right up front: they're calling the evening a 'Haus of Horrifyingly Cunty Creatives and their Whimsical Wares'.
That description tells you exactly what to expect. Instead of your regular-degular craft market, you'll find handmade treasures and curiosities—the kind of things you're more likely to discover by chance than search for. It's a one-night-only affair, so if you see something you like, it's gone once the night wraps.
There's more to it than just the stalls, too. Live DJs will be running throughout the evening, and a fully licensed bar will be serving potions alongside hot drinks, treats and snacks to keep you going. It's a full night out rather than a quick browse, and the 6pm to 11pm window gives you plenty of room to wander through the stalls and hang around the bar.
