Two-person improvisation show by Lloydie James Lloyd and Liam Webber, presented by Little John Improv as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival.
The Clones bring their two-person improvised play to Fishergate Point Studios on Saturday 31 October, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. It's Lloydie James Lloyd and Liam Webber on stage, and they're presented by Little John Improv.
The format is as stripped-back as it gets: no script, no staging, and nothing more than a pair of chairs for a set. They take a single suggestion from the audience and spin it into a spontaneous one-act play, built on the spot. Because it's improvised, the whole thing depends on what comes out of the room on the night, so it'll be different every time they do it.
Lloyd and Webber are seasoned improvisers, and the show has toured well beyond Nottingham, with runs in London, Belfast, Dublin, Chicago, and Sydney. It's picked up a fair bit of praise along the way, too — Elana Fishbein of Magnet Theater in New York called it one of the funniest improv shows she's ever seen.
