Relaxed afternoon of live acoustic music with food and drink at Peggy's Skylight, split into two sittings.
Peggy's Skylight has Saturday Afternoon - Unplugged on Saturday 24 October, a live acoustic session that runs from 12:30 to 16:00 in Hockley. It's an informal afternoon of live music, food and drink, and it's free to get in.
The afternoon is split into two sittings, so you can enjoy the live performance in an intimate room without having to give up your table. The first sitting runs from 12:30 to 14:00, with the music playing from 13:00 to 14:00; the second is from 14:30 to 16:00, with music from 15:00 to 16:00. It's pitched as a break from the usual weekend routine: a chance to sample the menu, pop in while you're out shopping, or simply slow down for a few hours. The musicians play while the room chats, drinks and dines around them.
If you're booking, you can request to be seated in one of the named areas of the room — 'Dizzy', 'Duke', 'Billie' and 'Mingus' — all served by table or bar service. Drop-in visitors are welcome, though booking a time slot is recommended if you want to be sure of your spot.

Entry on the door is free, though there's a small table reservation charge. That can either be deducted from your food and drink bill or used as a contribution to the performers. The venue is at Peggy's Skylight, 3 George Street, Hockley, Nottingham NG1 3BH.
