All-ages indie-folk and singer-songwriter night with Sam Moss, Leah Sinead and Alex Hale at Sneinton Market, presented by Hello Thor Records.
Sam Moss, Leah Sinead and Alex Hale play By Our Hands We Make Our Way on Saturday 7 November, a three-songwriter bill put on by Hello Thor Records. The venue is Unit 42, Sneinton Market, Freckingham Street, NG1 1DQ.
Sam Moss is a musician and woodworker based in Staunton, Virginia, whose indie-folk rambles through various offshoots of Americana with gentle finger-picked guitar, evocative melodies and warm vocals. His 2025 album Swimming was acclaimed by Spin, Uncut, Bandcamp and Aquarium Drunkard, and he's played hundreds of shows across the US alongside Jake Xerxes Fussell, Joan Shelley, Diane Cluck and Doug Paisley. Leah Sinead is a musician and writer whose work, under the previous alias Keto, gained attention for its fragile, haunting lo-fi folk sound; her debut album Blackened Pool was called 'minimal but utterly compelling' by The Quietus, and she released Piece of Sky and the Western Buzz EP in 2024-2025. Alex Hale is Nottingham's premier singer-songwriter, of Alex Hale and the Private Sector, known for songs about death, love and Long Eaton.
