Drag show hosted by GUNK! as a fundraiser for Palestine and human rights, with a craft stall, vegan bake sale, tombola and bingo.
Drag-O-Ween returns to Nottingham on Sunday 1 November, this time at By Our Hands We Make Our Way in Sneinton Market. It's a fundraiser for Palestine and human rights, with every pound raised going to The Sameer Project, a mutual aid initiative run by Palestinians in the diaspora. They've recently opened their own desalination plant and are now looking for monthly donations to restart their food distribution operations.
On the night, the drag show is just one part of it. There's a craft stall and a vegan bake sale outside, and inside you'll find a tombola and bingo to go alongside the performances. It's a full evening rather than just a few acts on a stage, so you can spend as much or as little time there as you like.
The drag is hosted by GUNK!, with Purrsona, Salaza Sparks, Clutter Malarkey, Coffin Goblin, Xaymaker and Rocco on the bill. That's six performers in one night, so there's plenty of variety to get through. If you're coming for the drag, you'll get your fill, but the bake sale and the tombola mean there's more to do than just watch.
