Weekly live music night Ruby Tuesday at Billy Bootleggers, with Hot Squash, The Ritualists (NYC) and more acts.
Ruby Tuesday returns to Billy Bootleggers on Tuesday 20 October, the latest in a weekly series that takes over the venue every Tuesday. It's presented by I'm Not From London, and the whole thing is built as a chance to discover new music in a small setting, with the bill regularly rounded out by further acts alongside the headliners.
The line-up for this one brings together bands from across the Atlantic. Hot Squash and The Ritualists, who come over from New York, share the bill with Cherry Stone and Silver State. It's a rotating line-up that runs from local up-and-comers to established international bands, so the sound changes from week to week rather than sticking to one particular scene.
Billy Bootleggers is an intimate room on Weekday Cross, formerly known as Percy Picklebackers. It's a small space, and the night is set up for catching bands before they move on to bigger stages. Because it's a weekly thing, it's easy to drop in when the bill catches your eye without committing to a whole tour or a festival line-up.
