Country and Americana night headlined by the East Midlands band ROUTE 65, with special guests WILLOW BAY and AMICA MEA.
ROUTE 65 play The Grove on Wednesday 28 October, with doors opening at 19:00. They're a new country band from the East Midlands, fronted by vocalists Kelsey Shaw and Nina Blaszczyk, and the night is billed as an Americana and country night. They'll be joined by special guests WILLOW BAY and AMICA MEA, so there are three acts on the bill rather than just one.
What sets them apart from a lot of the country coming out of the region is that they're playing their own material. It's original writing, not covers, and it's already getting airplay on BBC radio. They've built a reputation for their live shows and for writing songs that stick with you, and this is a chance to hear them in person. If you're into Americana and country, that's exactly what the evening is shaped around.
