Over-18s club night celebrating Fontaines D.C.'s album 'Dopamine Chamber' with a set across their discography, part of the ROMANCE party series.
Romance: Dopamine Chamber is a Fontaines D.C. club night at Rescue Rooms on Friday 6 November, running from 10:30pm until 3am. It's built around the release of their new album, Dopamine Chamber, and the set follows the band's trajectory from Dogrel through Romance and into the new record.
That's the core of the night, but it doesn't stop there. The DJ will be playing alongside other indie and post-punk acts: IDLES, Wet Leg, Joy Division, The Cure, Keo and The Last Dinner Party. It's a broad sweep of the sound that sits around the band, from the early post-punk of Joy Division and The Cure through to more recent names like IDLES and The Last Dinner Party.
The night is part of the ROMANCE party series, which the organisers describe as nights made by real music fans for real music fans, built around the songs and bands fans know by heart. That's the idea behind the set, too — it's a run through the Fontaines D.C. discography, starting with Dogrel, moving through Romance, and landing on Dopamine Chamber.
