Over-18s Resident Evil-themed clubnight with Raccoon City props, a giant LED screen and a soundtrack of Resident Evil songs, nu/industrial metal, grunge, goth and emo.
Resident Evil: The Clubnight comes to Rescue Rooms on Saturday 28 November, the first time UPRAWR has brought the Resident Evil theme to Nottingham. They're turning the main room into a quarantine zone straight out of Raccoon City, with stage props, cardboard cut-outs and a gigantic LED screen to set the scene.
The music mixes Resident Evil songs with nu-metal, industrial metal, grunge, goth and emo, with glowsticks and confetti thrown in. It's a broad spread, so you'll hear the game's own soundtrack alongside the heavier, darker sounds that fit the theme. If you're into the series, it's a night built around it; if you just fancy a club night with a bit of a set to it, that works too.
There's a dress code if you're feeling it: S.T.A.R.S. members, Umbrella scientists or the infected are the suggested looks, though it's not essential, so you can just turn up as you are. The night is over-18s only, with last entry at 2:30am.

Rescue Rooms is on Masonic Place, off Goldsmith Street in the city centre. The Guardian once called it one of the jewels of Nottingham's live scene, and it's known as the city's friendly neighbourhood live music venue, club and late bar. The night runs from 10:30pm to 3:00am, and tickets start from £5.
