A Caribbean twist on bingo where reggae tracks are played while players mark their cards, with sing-alongs and prizes.
Dialtone Sound are bringing Reggae Bingo to New Art Exchange on Saturday 24 October, from 17:30 to 20:00. It's a Caribbean twist on the classic game: instead of numbers called in silence, the room fills with a curated selection of reggae tracks, and you mark your card while grooving along. The music does as much of the work as the game itself, so it's as much about the tunes as it is about the bingo.
It's run as an interactive, high-energy night with audience participation, sing-alongs and prizes, and is presented as a warm, inclusive, family-friendly experience for all ages. The session is part of the Familiar Strangers collection by Rastarella Falade at New Art Exchange, which hosts it as a relaxed, communal evening. If you've never done reggae bingo before, that's the whole point: the music takes the place of the numbers, and the room moves with it.
