Fair with over 35 stalls of printmakers, illustrators and designers working in screen print, lino print, risograph, etching and other print techniques.
Print Fair Contemporary is back at Nottingham Contemporary from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October, taking over The Space and Studio 2 across two floors. It's one of four fairs the gallery puts on each year, a series that started in 2011 and has become a bit of a fixture on the local calendar, usually drawing around 4,000 people over the three-day weekend. This particular edition focuses on print, and it's open to individuals, collectives and galleries alike, so you'll find a mix of East Midlands exhibitors alongside national designers and makers, with a focus on original design.
There are over 35 stalls to wander through, with printmakers, illustrators, artists, designers, zine makers and textile designers working in screen print, lino print, risograph, etching, photography, digital print and other print techniques. The print edition first arrived in 2020, followed by a Summer Craft Fair in 2023 and a Food & Home Fair in 2025, so it's now a regular part of the rotation. The whole thing is a drop-in, so there's no booking required.
The launch evening on Friday 16 October sets the tone for the weekend, with music from local DJ Loose Joints, drinks at Blend at Contemporary and food from Bombay Deli. The event design is by Peter Duffy. After that, the fair stays open through the weekend, with the stalls running on Saturday and Sunday.
