Southern rock band Parker Barrow, fronted by the husband-and-wife duo Megan Kane and Dylan Turner, plays the Metronome in Nottingham.
Parker Barrow play Metronome on Tuesday 1 December, part of their Hold The Mash UK autumn tour. They'll be joined by Wood Burnt Red, so it's a double bill rather than a single act.
If you're not familiar with them, Parker Barrow is a blues-infused Southern rock band. The name comes from Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, and they draw from The Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Whiskey Myers — a list that puts their sound in a clear, guitar-led tradition. At the front are husband and wife Megan Kane on vocals and Dylan Turner on drums, with Alex Bender on guitar. They're rounded out by a backing band of Will Tipton on guitar, Kyle Priber on bass and Eric Safka on keys, so it's a full six-piece on stage.
Their 2023 debut album, Jukebox Gypsies, is a ten-track collection that charted throughout that year and drew praise from Rock & Blues Muse's Mike O'Cull. Since then they've added two singles to the catalogue: 'Make It' in April 2025 and 'Novocaine' in July 2025. Between the debut album and the newer singles, there's a fair bit of material to pull from for a set.
