Holiday club ice skating sessions for children at The National Ice Centre in Nottingham.
The National Ice Centre is running a holiday club ice skating session for children on Friday 30 October, one of those half-term days when you're usually scrambling to find something to keep the kids occupied while the weather turns. It's part of their October holiday club, so it's aimed at the younger crowd rather than a general public skate.
If you're not familiar with the place, it's at Bolero Square, Belward Street, NG1 1LA — right in the heart of Nottingham. It's a proper ice rink, not a temporary pop-up, so it's a good spot for kids to get a few hours on the ice without having to travel far. The session runs from 08:30 to 17:30, which is a long window to work around your day, whether you're dropping them off early or picking them up later.

It costs £35 for the session. If you've got children at home and you're looking for something to fill a half-term day, it's a straightforward option: a full day of skating at one of the city's biggest rinks, on 30 October, from 08:30 to 17:30 at The National Ice Centre.
