Free family half-term session at Arkwright Meadows Community Gardens where children and their parents or carers decorate Halloween-themed cakes to take home.
Arkwright Meadows Community Gardens are running a family cooking session on Wednesday 21 October, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. It's a two-hour afternoon for children to get stuck in alongside their parents or carers, and it sits within the gardens' wider family and education programme and their October half-term activities.
The focus this time is on decorating cakes with a spooky Halloween theme, and everything you make is yours to take home. The session is set up as a way to enjoy the community gardens and for children and adults to cook together, so it's as much about spending the afternoon with your kids as it is about the cakes themselves.
