Student-only 18+ Desi Halloween rave with Desi Beatz in the main room and headliners across four rooms, with best-dressed prizes.
NTU ASOC bring their Halloween Mela back to The Palais on Monday 26 October, the ninth year in a row they've run it. It's a student-only 18+ night, so you'll need proof of enrolment or a valid student ID to get in. Fancy dress is welcome, otherwise smart casual will do.
It's a big one: the night runs across four rooms of music, with Desi Beatz taking the main room, The Box, and headliners in the others. They're expecting more than 2,000 ravers, with coach parties coming in from five universities and 16 confirmed socials. There are best-dressed prizes up for grabs and spookier entertainers on the door to lean into the Halloween theme.
The organisers bill it as the UK's most popularly attended and annually sold-out Desi Halloween Extravaganza, and it's their ninth year running. With four rooms of music and a crowd that size, it's more of a full-night takeover than a single dancefloor, so you can move between the different rooms as the night goes on.
