Monster-themed Halloween student party at The Palais with three music rooms, fancy dress prizes, a free sweet stall and cheap student drinks.
F*CK ME It's Halloween is taking over The Palais on Thursday 29 October, running from 11pm until 4am. It's a Halloween special that follows a run of back-to-back sold-out freshers shows, and the organisers are billing it as the biggest student Halloween party in the city. The Palais, on Lower Parliament Street, is one of Nottingham's most iconic nightclubs and is described as its best student venue.
The night is built as an immersive, monster-themed experience. There will be terrifying Halloween performers throughout, prizes for the best fancy dress, and a free trick-or-treat sweet stall. They're also handing out free F*CK ME T-shirts and running huge giveaways, with cheap student drinks on the go. It's the sort of night where the fancy dress is half the point, so it's worth putting some effort into your costume if you're planning to go for the prizes.
The music is spread across three rooms, so you can move between them depending on what you're in the mood for. The main room mixes chart, commercial, house, hip hop and R&B. The second room is dedicated to hip hop, R&B and UK rap, and the third focuses on dancehall and afrobeats. Between the three, you've got a fair bit of ground covered, from the big commercial hits to the more specific sounds of rap and dancehall.
