Informal, low-key meetup for researchers, developers and students to share work and discuss neural networks over coffee.
Nottingham Neural Networks and Morning Brews is on Sunday 1 November at VR87+XF Nottingham, starting at 19:00. It's an informal, community-focused gathering for anyone with an interest in machine learning, deep learning or the broader world of neural networks. Researchers, developers, students and beginners are all welcome, so you don't need to be an expert to turn up.
There's no formal agenda and no guest speakers. Instead, the evening is about the people in the room: attendees spend the time sharing what they're working on, discussing recent developments in the field or troubleshooting technical hurdles over coffee. It's a relaxed setting away from the pressure of a professional conference, where the conversation comes from the crowd rather than a stage.
That's the whole of it, really. If you're tinkering with a project at home, following the latest papers, or just curious about how neural networks actually work, it's a chance to talk it through with others who are into the same thing. You can show what you've been building, ask for a second pair of eyes on a problem, or just listen in on what other people are up to. It's as much about the coffee and the chat as it is about the code.
