Application-only, curated one-to-one matching event for practising Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds, with structured, halal, moderated meetings.
Qabul Events are bringing their 1-to-1 single meetup to Crowne Plaza Nottingham on Sunday 22 November, from around 11:00 to 17:00. It's an application-only, curated matching experience for practising Muslims — single, divorced, widowed or reverts — of all ethnic backgrounds, open to British citizens only. They position it as a selective, quality-controlled alternative to the larger, open events you might be used to: no free-mixing or overcrowded rooms, but structured, halal and moderated one-to-one rotations of up to five minutes each, with groups balanced by age and gender.
Matches are shared privately and only on mutual interest, and a mehram may attend. Qabul runs similar halal, in-person events across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester and Bradford, with all attendees screened. The matching is driven by an algorithm that ensures no-repeat-meet logic, and mutual matches unlock a secure chat in the Qabul Events app. ID is required at the door, and the dress code is smart-casual and modest.
