Free anniversary evening marking 15 years of Maggie's Nottingham, with staff, volunteers and the local community reflecting on the centre's impact.
Maggie's Nottingham is celebrating its 15th anniversary on Wednesday 11 November, with an evening open to everyone from 6 pm to 8 pm. It's been fifteen years since the centre opened its doors, more than a decade of free, professional cancer support for people across the region. Since the start, it's been a welcoming space for anyone affected by cancer, offering practical, emotional and social support in a calming environment run by staff, volunteers and fundraisers.
The evening brings together supporters, staff, volunteers and the local community to reflect on the centre's impact, share stories and look ahead at future plans. It's a chance to hear from the people who've been part of it over the years and to see where things go from here. If you've had a connection with the place, or if you're just curious about the work they do, it's an open invitation.
