Stand-up show by asexual comedian Luke Harrower, a work-in-progress about dating as an asexual, presented by NCF Comedy at The Canalhouse.
Luke Harrower brings An Asexual Guide On Love to The Canalhouse on Sunday 1 November, as part of the Notts Comedy Festival. It's a work-in-progress show, so you're seeing it while it's still being shaped rather than a polished, finished piece.
Harrower is an asexual comedian who's been picking up speed across the Midlands and East Anglia comedy scenes, and this set draws on his own experience of dating as a late-realising asexual. He talks through the troubles that come with that, and the many dates with people who found him a bit too weird. He describes the whole thing as pretty light-hearted, so it's more of a laugh at the situation than a heavy dive into it.
NCF Comedy is presenting the show as part of the Notts Comedy Festival, which runs across the city. It's for ages 16 and over, so keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone younger. The Canalhouse is on Canal Street, right in the city centre, so it's an easy one to get to.
