Low-noise Bonfire Night firework display at The Kensington in Carlton, with traditional Bonfire Night food and hot drinks.
The Kensington in Carlton is putting on a low-noise firework display on Saturday 7 November, from 5 pm to 8 pm. It's part of their Bonfire Night offering, and the whole thing is built around fireworks that don't make the usual loud bangs, so it's a bit more considerate if you're sensitive to noise.
That's the main thing that sets it apart from your typical display. Most Bonfire Night events are all about the big crashes and loud reports, which can be a lot to take in. This one keeps the festive atmosphere but dials down the volume, so it's a better fit if you've got kids who get overwhelmed by loud sounds, or if you just prefer a quieter way of doing things. It's open to all ages, so it works as a family outing.
Beyond the fireworks, they've got the usual Bonfire Night food on the go, along with warming hot drinks and sweet treats to keep you going while it's cold out. It's the kind of evening that's as much about the food and the company as it is about the display itself.
