Lottie Brooks Launch Party

Lottie Brooks is coming to The Reading Room on Friday 4 December for a launch party celebrating her book Twelve Disasters of Christmas. It's a family-friendly afternoon, starting at 17:30, and the whole thing is built around the book, so it's as much a party as it is a book launch.

There's plenty to do while you're there, and you'll come away with a few things in your pocket. The organisers have set up glitter tattoos, friendship bracelet making and bookmark bedazzling, all of which guests can take home. If you're into the craftier side of things, that's where you'll spend most of your time. To keep you going, there are brownies and milkshakes from Naughty Delicious on the go throughout.

It's a family affair, so keep in mind that a parent or guardian has to stay in the building. If you're planning to bring the kids, that's the one thing to have sorted before you head in. Between the crafts and the treats, it's set up as a proper afternoon out rather than just a quick appearance.

Tickets were listed from £13.70 to £26.71 via Eventbrite, though they're currently showing as sold out. The party kicks off at 17:30 at The Reading Room, which you'll find in The George Centre, Grantham, NG31 6LH.
