Stand-up show by Jacob Hawley, host of The Screen Rot Podcast, exploring the challenges of adulthood.
Jacob Hawley brings his new hour of stand-up, Fighting Age Man, to Nottingham Arts Theatre on Tuesday 17 November, with the show starting at 7:30pm. It's presented by Live Nation, and the full run goes for 90 minutes with a 20-minute interval in the middle.
If you're not familiar with him, Hawley is one half of The Screen Rot Podcast, and this is billed as a bold new hour of stand-up. He describes the set as a mix of blistering comedy, questionable opinions and stories he says most people would need waterboarding to admit to. The overarching theme is an exploration of the challenges of adulthood, so it's an hour built around the things that start to weigh on you as you get older.
He's a face and voice you've likely come across without realising it. Beyond the podcast, he's been on The Have A Word podcast and has appeared on Talksport, Sky, ITV and the BBC, so he's spent plenty of time on the air before stepping onto the stage for this one.
