Halloween Slime Party

Dollys are hosting a Halloween slime workshop at Dollys, 62 Main Rd, Gedling on Thursday 22 October, a 90-minute session for children aged 3 to 10. It's run by the DBS-checked Dollys team, who pitch it as a spooky-but-sweet afternoon where the kids take over as little slime makers. They'll spend the session mixing, stretching and swirling their own Halloween-inspired creations, then finish them off with sprinkles, glitter, charms and creepy-cute toppings.

It's aimed at the 3-to-10 age group, and every child needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The whole thing is kept cute, colourful and fun rather than scary, set against the brand's signature 'Dollys sparkle'—so it's more about the glitter and the gooeyness than anything that'll give the little ones nightmares. Along with the slime, each child gets a Halloween mocktail, and they take their creation home with them. All the materials are included in the price, and there are no refunds.

It fits into a wider Halloween in Nottingham that's usually a mix of eerie atmosphere and lively fun for all ages. While the kids are out visiting haunted houses and trick-or-treating around town, the adults tend to head to themed parties in basement clubs and pub function rooms. This workshop sits on the family side of that, a bit of creative mess for the kids before the proper trick-or-treating kicks in.

The session runs from 14:00 to 15:30, with doors opening at 13:55. Tickets are £19.00 per child.
