Halloween ghost hunt with séances and vigils at the Georgian mansion Stanford House, with a live acoustic set by Chris Holden, for adults 18 and over.
Faded Footsteps are bringing their Halloween ghost hunt to Stanford House on Friday 30 October, with a second night on Saturday 31 October. The venue is a 1755 Georgian mansion on Castle Gate, known as Howe House before it was remodelled for William Stanford in 1775, and it's the setting for the whole night.
It's part of the Faded Footsteps Ghost Hunts/Paranormal Events collection, and the evening works its way through a mix of new and old investigation styles. You'll get the Coffin Estes Method, a blindfolded Victorian séance, and the Singapore Theory, with séances and vigils running throughout. There's also a live acoustic set from Chris Holden, playing spooky versions of well-known hits from across the decades, and everyone takes home a free Faded Footsteps goodie bag of merchandise and equipment.
It's for ages 18 and over. If you're still going after the main event, there's an optional after-hours session with the Faded Footsteps team at Ye Olde Salutation Inn from midnight to 3:00 am.
