Relaxed screening of the PG-rated feature film 'Ghosts: The Possession of Button House', the adaptation of the BBC comedy series, at Broadway Cinema.
Ghosts: The Possession of Button House is coming to Broadway Cinema on Friday 23 October, with the screening starting at 13:30. It's a film adaptation of the BBC comedy Ghosts, and if you've followed the show, you'll know the setup: the ghosts of Alison and Mike Button return to haunt Button House, the family estate.
This one picks up three years after their last visit. The ghosts are still there, adjusting to life without Alison and Mike, until protestors threaten to disrupt the work on the planned hotel. From there, they try to find a way for at least one of them to finally leave the grounds. It's directed by Simon Hynd and stars Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, and Martha Howe-Douglas, and it runs for 97 minutes. It's a PG, so it's geared towards old and new audiences alike.
One thing to keep in mind is that this is a relaxed screening. It's designed for audiences who might need to move about, make noise, or take breaks during the film, so it's a bit more flexible than a standard cinema trip. If that's your speed, it's a good way to catch the film.
