Over-18s networking meetup for local game developers, illustrators, designers and animators to connect and discover indie games from Nottingham.
ARC Space is hosting the last Game Dev Meetup of the year on Thursday 26 November, from 7pm to 11pm. It's a relaxed networking night run by a group of Nottingham creatives who set it up to help local developers and the people working around them — illustrators, designers and animators — connect, play games and discover indie projects made right here in the city.
That's the core of it: it's not a formal conference or a series of talks, but a night for people making games in Nottingham to actually meet each other. If you're a developer, you'll find other devs; if you're an artist or a designer, you'll find the people who could use your skills on a project. There's also a play side to it, with indie games from across the city on display to try out, so you can see what's being built in the local scene rather than just hearing about it. It's as much about the people as the games.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The night is an over-18s, in-person gathering at ARC Space, which you'll find on the ground floor of Laceworks Bar in the Lace Market — Western Street, Nottingham NG1 3AZ. It's a free event, so you can just turn up and hang out for as much or as little of the evening as you like. It runs from 7pm through to 11pm, with plenty of time to wander around, chat and play.
