Pumpkin Carving & Halloween Quiz @ Laceworks Bar, ARC Space

Laceworks Bar at ARC Space is hosting a pumpkin carving and Halloween quiz on Thursday 29 October, from 5.30pm to 10pm. It's part of the ARC Space community's wider Halloween celebrations, so it's one of a few things they've got lined up around the date.

The pumpkin carving is the main draw. They provide the pumpkins, so you don't need to lug one in yourself. The session runs with drinks and music going in the background, and Laceworks Bar stays open throughout, so you can keep your glass full while you work. Once you've finished, you can either take your pumpkin home or leave it behind at ARC to help decorate the space for the venue's annual Halloween bash the following day.

The night closes with a Halloween-themed quiz, and the prize is free pizza and drinks for the winners. It's a fairly low-stakes way to spend a Thursday evening, and since the bar is open the whole time, you can just drop in and stay as long as you fancy.

It's £5 for non-members, or £10 if you want to add a house lager, white or red wine. The bar is in ARC Space, Western House, Western Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AZ, and the whole thing runs from 5.30pm to 10pm.
