Denzil de Cristo: Punexplained Phenomena (Work in Progress)

Denzil de Cristo brings his stand-up comedy to the Cosy Club in Nottingham on Friday 1 November, performing in the Victorian Lounge. The show is titled Punexplained Phenomena, and it's billed as a work in progress, so it's a first look at material he's still developing rather than a polished, road-worn set. If you've seen him before, this is a chance to catch the new stuff while it's still taking shape.

As a work in progress, the night is less about a finished product and more about the process. He'll be working through the set in front of a live audience, which means the material is being tested and tweaked in real time. It's the kind of gig where you're seeing the jokes being built rather than just delivered, and the title Punexplained Phenomena gives a fair hint at the kind of wordplay he's leaning into.

It's part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival, and the venue is the Victorian Lounge at the Cosy Club, right in the city centre. The show starts at 6pm, so it's an early one — you can get in, see the set, and still have the rest of your Friday evening open. Tickets are pay-what-you-want, so you decide what you want to give. It's a straightforward night of stand-up: Denzil de Cristo on stage at the Cosy Club, Friday 1 November, 6pm.
