Monthly CPD day of co-working and co-learning at ARC Space, with a Circular Economy presentation by Couch Perry Wilkes and an Agony Architect session.
The CPD Club is back at ARC Space on Friday 30 October, from 8:30 in the morning through to 6:00 in the evening. It's a monthly fixture run by ARC Design Studio, and the whole day is built around co-working, co-learning and a bit of light networking. The format is simple: each month's CPD presentation is handed over to an external team, and the day always rounds off with an Agony Architect session.
This time, the presentation comes from the team at Couch Perry Wilkes (CPW), who'll be talking through the Circular Economy. If you're in the industry, it's a topic that's hard to ignore these days, and having a team like CPW lead on it gives you a chance to hear how it's actually playing out on the ground rather than just reading the theory. After that, the day closes with the Agony Architect session, where the room turns to a bit of collective problem-solving.
Depending on how much of the day you want to commit, there are a few ways to do it. A full-day ticket gets you a day pass to the ARC Space coworking space, morning coffee and a pastry from Kawfee, the lunchtime CPD event with lunch included, a seat at the Agony Architect session and access to the ARC Space End of Month Social. That also comes with one free drink from the Laceworks bar and 10% off hot drinks at both Kawfee and Laceworks. If you can't spare the whole day, there's a lunchtime ticket that covers the CPD event and lunch.
