A reading workshop where actors and writers read a new draft of 'A Sacred Disease' by Dan Lovatt and give feedback.
Cold Reads is back at Nottingham Playhouse on Monday 26 October, from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. The night is a reading workshop that brings actors and writers together to read a brand-new draft of a script out loud for the first time. On this occasion, the text is A Sacred Disease by Dan Lovatt.
If you're an actor, you can take a part and get a bit of cold-reading practice in, and if you're a writer, you can hear a new script off the page and offer feedback on the writing. If you're not in the mood to read, you can just listen to a local writer's new work and network with other theatre artists. Producers, directors and other makers are welcome too, and anyone who'd rather not read can opt out at the start of the session.
