Midnight masquerade ball at Waterstones Nottingham to celebrate the sixth book in Sarah J. Maas's 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' series, with evening wear, masks and dancing.
Waterstones Nottingham is hosting a midnight masquerade ball on Monday 26 October to celebrate the release of the sixth book in Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses series. It's an evening for the fans, with the new book handed out at the stroke of midnight, so the whole night builds towards that one moment.
It's run by the Nottingham store, and the dress code is evening wear and a mask of your choice. The night is built around dancing, themed activities and a few surprises, with the new book handed out at midnight. If you've been following the series, it's a chance to get the latest instalment as soon as it drops, surrounded by other readers doing the same.
The ball takes place in the Sillitoe Room on the fourth floor of Waterstones Nottingham, at 1-5 Bridlesmith Gate, NG1 2GR. It starts at 22:00, so it's a late one that carries on past midnight.

Tickets are £7, or £6 for Plus Cardholders. There's also a £30 option that includes the book — which retails for £25 — to collect at the event. The night is sold out, so if you've missed out, your best bet is to contact the store and get your name on the waiting list.
