Headline two-hour trance set by Chicane, the artist behind 'Offshore' and 'Don't Give Up', at The Palais.
Chicane plays The Palais on Saturday 24 October, with a two-hour headline set. He's one of the names that defined the early trance sound, and for a good while his name was shorthand for Ibiza sunsets and the kind of music that worked as well on a dancefloor as it did on headphones. Offshore was the one that really put him on the map, and Saltwater followed as a UK top-five hit.
He's worked across a few different worlds since then. Don't Give Up, his collaboration with Bryan Adams from the album Behind the Sun, hit number one on the UK Singles Chart and became a dancefloor classic — one of the first dance collaborations to reach that height. Beyond the Chicane project, he's produced and composed with Cher, Sir Tom Jones, William Orbit and Natasha Bedingfield, and has written for television and film. This night is built around the headline set, with warm-up support still to be announced.
