Singer-songwriter and drummer ADMT plays the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, performing his debut album 'From Good To Bad Then Back Again'.
ADMT plays Rescue Rooms on Saturday 13 February, with doors opening at 18:00. It's a headline show in Nottingham, part of what he's calling his biggest UK tour to date, following a sold-out run across the UK and Europe. The set is built around his debut album, From Good To Bad Then Back Again, which came out on 15 May.
ADMT is the stage name of Adam Taylor, a singer-songwriter born in Doncaster and now based in Leeds. He describes himself as a 'singer, drummer... universe explorer', and his work sits across acoustic pop, pop and R&B. He's open about the personal weight behind the songs, too: he says his candid, soul-bearing tracks have changed — and even saved — lives, starting with his own.
There's a bit of a story to how he got here. He started as a teenage drummer, and his first real role in music took him poolside in Los Angeles, where he was recruited for a local band's American tour. When the group stopped playing live, he returned home to work in a bottling factory. It's a long way from the bottling plant to a headline tour, and that gap is part of the context he brings to the stage.
