18+ night of noise, digital hardcore and sludge headlined by Nerve Peel, with Masquerader and Get Fucked, at Dead Wax.
Nerve Peel are playing Dead Wax on Sunday 25 October, with Masquerader and Get Fucked on the bill. The night is put on by Yellow Tape Promotions.
Nerve Peel are a noise duo from King's Lynn, and their sound is a bit of a collision: hardstyle beats and chainsaw-like guitars, with digital hardcore and black metal in the mix. It's a heavy, high-energy set that sits somewhere between the dancefloor and the mosh pit, and since they're from just down the road in West Norfolk, this is one of their closer-to-home dates.
They're sharing the bill with two other acts. Masquerader come from Reading and work with electronic, synth-led hardcore, so there's a similar dance-floor energy there, just from a different angle. Get Fucked are a trio from Bristol whose sound leans on huge, sludgy bass riffs and chaotic, stomping drums, bringing the weight and the noise. Between the three of them, the night covers a fair stretch of heavy, electronic-leaning territory, from the synth-driven side to the sludgy end.
