Over-18s night of black metal punk, sludge hardcore and noisy punk headlined by Finnish act Qwälen at Dead Wax.
Qwälen are playing Dead Wax on Wednesday 28 October, one stop on their UK tour. They're anti-fascist black metal punks from Finland, and they describe their sound as intense, caustic blasts of nasty noise for punks and metallers alike. It's a long way from Helsinki to Norwich, and this is the night they land here.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. The night is rounded out by A Horse Called War, East Anglian sludgey hardcore legends, and Shelf Life, Norwich's own noisy punks. Between the Finnish black metal, the regional sludge, and the local punk, the three acts cover a fair bit of ground within the heavier end of things, and they're all on the same ticket.

Dead Wax is presenting the night, and it's for over-18s only. The music runs from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, so you've got a full evening of it rather than a quick set. Tickets are £9.20, and the venue is at 18 Saint Georges Street, NR3 1BA.
